When I was in third grade, I discovered the Famous Five and Nancy Drew book series. From that day on, I have loved to read- both for fun and to enhance my mind.
One evening, when I was browsing through a relative’s bookshelf for ideas, it struck me: when I want to know which books to read next I inadvertently turn the book and read the summary at the back of the book.
So I decided to write for hookedtobooks.com, a haven for book enthusiasts of all genres where they could learn about different books, authors and all things related to books. I started writing with the belief that this was the best way to discover and discuss good books.
I believe my inclination towards writing is quite organic and is rooted in my insatiable appetite for reading. My reading habit also acquainted me with many different writing styles and helped me understand some of the nuances of web content writing.
Being a person who is creatively oriented, writing also gives me an opportunity to use my imagination and express myself creatively. I am appreciative of the chance to educate and enlighten the readers of the website and look forward to growing and learning alongside this community.
